Marc Lottering's new solo show for the Baxter

Marc Lottering, one of SA's top comedians, will present his new solo show, I Don't Work on Sundays, at the Baxter from 3 to 21 April.

Marc Lottering has just come out of a successful run of David Kramer’s musical comedy Some like It Vrot, and fans will be thrilled to know that he’s ready to take to the stage again in his new stand up show I Don’t Work on Sundays.

I Don’t Work on Sundays features Lottering’s brand new material where he expresses his unique views on topics that tickle his fancy, ranging from Beyonce’s baby to his fascination with reality TV in South Africa. Lottering will, of course, also explain exactly why he refuses to work on Sundays.

Marc Lottering hails from Cape Town and is one of South Africa’s top comedians. He has been in the funny business for 13 years and continues to keep audiences in stitches across the country. When Marc is not performing locally, he entertains homesick South Africans abroad and to date he has performed to rave reviews in London, Sydney, Perth, Toronto, Melbourne, Auckland and in Dubai.

Lottering is a multiple Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards winner and a Naledi nominee. His self-scripted one-man shows, which often feature his unique and popular characters, continue to play to packed houses.
